Micah Grammon grew up in a small town in Oregon where he later joined the Army, served overseas in Iraq, and moved to San Antonio. Here he met his lovely wife Star and that is when his life began to change, as they both grew closer to Christ the Holy Spirit told him to change his degree that he was seeking out to a more meaningful and servant lifestyle. This is how The Scared Olive Branch came into existence, bringing foster children and families to Christ and to lead a life worth living for.
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We offer a variety of opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved and make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
The Sacred Olive Branch was founded in 1995 by a group of community members who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to helping homeless individuals. Since then, we have grown into a thriving nonprofit, serving hundreds of individuals each year.
